Tickle
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Overview
Tickle is designed as an offline-first counter app. The app lets you create counters, update counts, view local history, and export or import backups. This policy explains what information is handled by the app and how it is used.
Information We Collect
Tickle does not require an account for the current app experience. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers, or payment information through the app.
Your counters, counter titles, emoji, colors, goals, counts, settings, and history logs are created by you and stored locally on your device.
Local Storage
Core app data is stored on your device so Tickle can work without internet access. If you delete the app, your local app data may be deleted by your operating system unless you have separately exported or backed it up.
Backups and Sharing
Tickle may let you export a JSON backup of your counters and logs or import a backup file. Exported files are controlled by you. If you share a backup file with another app, person, or cloud provider, that recipient's terms and privacy practices apply.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
The current app does not include third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information.
Permissions
Tickle only requests permissions needed for app features. For example, file access may be used when you choose to import or export a backup. Permission prompts are controlled by your device operating system.
Children's Privacy
Tickle is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Future Features
If future versions add optional sync, accounts, widgets, cloud backups, analytics, or other connected features, this policy will be updated before those features are made available in a way that changes data handling.
